Sugihara Sake

Sugihara Sake Brewery, founded in 1892, is known to be the smallest handcrafted sake brewery in Japan.

FIFTH GENERATION BREWER, YOSHIKI SUGIHARA, PARTNERED WITH EXPERTS TO DEVELOP A NEW RICE SUITED FOR THE CLIMATE. DECADES OF RESEARCH AND THE PASSION OF LOCAL FARMERS WOULD LEAD TO SUCCESSFUL CROPS EVERY YEAR.

MADE WITH THE PURE WATER FROM THE NEARBY IBI RIVER, THIS NEW SAKE LINE, “IBI.” HAS BUILT A SIGNIFICANT FOLLOWING IN JAPAN. AND BECAUSE OF THE BREWERY’S SIZE, THE SMALL BATCH OF BOTTLES MADE EVERY YEAR HAS MADE THIS SAKE A RARITY.
